WORK WITH ME

TRAVEL MEDIA

As a travel expert and former flight attendant I love to assist the media including journalists and producers, complete their travel stories with insider insight into processes and procedures, in-flight safety standards, anecdotes which range from everyday life in the sky to hilarious and strange situations and commentary on the aviation and travel industry as a whole.

Additionally, I am always interested in opportunities which allow me to regularly share my insight, destination features, and travel industry commentary on a regular basis as a columnist or reporter for news organizations and blogs.

BRANDS

If you’re a brand, satellite media tour agency, organization or association seeking to partner with a travel expert/insider, than look no further. As a former flight attendant and in-flight policy and procedure analyst, I’m an experienced traveler with knowledge other travel experts cannot speak to and an audience they can’t touch. Having traveled professionally for the past twelve years, my opinions, travel tips, insight, features and articles have been featured on and within America’s most viewed television programs and publications such as The TODAY Show, The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, Dr. Oz, Inside Edition, Conde Nast Traveler and dozens of other top media outlets across the country.

EXPERT WITNESS

My thorough knowledge of the training, procedures and role of a flight attendant coupled with my hands-on aviation experience, has led me to be called upon as an Expert Witness in cases surrounding airline cabin safety. I can review, advise, report and testify to situations surrounding the role and career of a flight attendant, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and compliance, on-board emergency procedures including: aircraft emergency evacuation procedures, disruptive passenger handling & restraint procedures and In-Flight medical emergencies among others.

Background: I developed, tested, maintained and worked with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to create policies and procedures for the US Airways/American Airlines InFlight Emergency Manual which contained company and FAA approved and enforced procedures for all aspects of domestic and international flights from safety to service. All flight attendants at the airline were trained on and had to prove proficiency with the procedures outlined in the IEM annually.

As one of the original Virgin America crewmembers and as an InFlight Team Lead, I acted as an extension of the InFlight Training Department on board all flights which I operated. Duties included ensuring FAA and company rules and regulations were followed as outlined in our Emergency Manual.

Presently, I serve as a contributor to “The Today Show,” host of the weekly travel program “The Jet Set” and appear on various national programs and in the press as a Travel Expert & Analyst.
